Brunswick depot today - 5 days to go

The best way to see what is happening at Brunswick is to look out the window of the train on the south side of Moreland railway station.

Today's dull weather and Metro's dirty windows were not the ideal environment, but here goes.

• First pic looks east along Moreland Rd and shows the new platform stops between Sydney Rd and Cameron St. 
  This will be the passenger terminus for route 6. 
  Bike paths run across the platform stops - as in Swanston St - and as would be expected in the "People's Republic of Merri Bek".

• Second pic shows the expanded 'south yard' south of Brunswick depot tramshed. 
  There are nine roads and five of them connect to a fan that leads out to the northbound tramway in Sydney Rd.

Trams are due back in the depot to run from first tram on Tuesday morning, 6th of October.

Mal Rowe - still not sure how the three track tramway in Cameron St will be connected.
