Pall Mall has granite setts as paving and these have been retained, but
with a more level surface where pedestrians cross the roadway.
The track in High St, for a short distance south of the fountain, has
been renewed in mass concrete.
I was lucky to be offered a ride on a test tram on Thursday and managed
to grab a couple of pics of the test run by toastrack 17 and Birney 15.
Normal services are running from today.
