54 years since Ballarat tramways closure

Today marks the 54th anniversary of the final run of the Ballarat trams
under the SEC.

They ran the Ballarat trams from 1934 until 1971 - 37 years.

The Ballarat Tramway museum started operating trams in 1974 and
contunues to run them now - 51 years and counting.
