Don't get excited, this is just ideas, though I recall that the Liberals have floated the idea at past elections. The phenomenon of Melbourne tram routes terminating where they did 100 years ago when it was the edge of suburbia, but now isolated, though within cooee of newer development, railway stations and modern shopping centres is something I've mentioned in the past.
